(TS) – Sony is rolling out an update that brings Android Jelly Bean and some of its own software modifications to the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z.

In addition to the benefits of Android 4.3, owners of these devices will get Sony’s Smart Social Camera and the company’s full collection of apps — including Messaging, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, Sony Select and its suite of media apps. The latest update comes with a variety of features for the above-mentioned devices and bumps the build version to 10.4.B.0.569

Apart from all the features and goodies from Android 4.3. Additionally, the update also brings Sony Themes, giving users the ability to download UI packs from Sony Select.
The update also includes new version Stamina Mode, which is an updated version of Sony’s power management application and brings a new user interface as well. The complete list of features introduced can be checked at Sony’s blog.

Also note that the availability time varies with region and carriers. The update is usually rolled out in phases and can take a few weeks before its available across the globe. Additionally, carrier-locked devices may take a little longer as the update is approved and rolled out by the carrier itself.
